Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization dedicated to solving crimes including the arrest of criminals, and the apprehension of suspects and fugitives who have outstanding warrants in Hays County, Texas.

 

Crime Stoppers is a citizen-supported partnership between the media, the public and law enforcement who join together to fight crime. Crime Stoppers has made a positive difference in every community whose citizens care enough to get involved.

Our primary law enforcement partners are the Hays County Sheriff's Department and the Police Departments of San Marcos and Kyle, and the Texas State Campus Police. All citizens of Hays County can participate by serving on the Board of Directors, volunteering on committees, and by calling in with tips on criminals.

Crime Stoppers pays the rewards from the funds we receive as contributions and donations from the public. NO TAX DOLLARS ARE USED. We depend on certain grants, fundraisers, and donations from the citizens in our community.
